Jake

My cousin Jake came to visit all of his family in California. The last time we saw him I'm pretty sure he was still in diapers so he doesn't really remember his first trip here. He had a very busy schedule but luckily he was able to fit us in for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney. It turned into a little family reunion with almost everyone there (except for Jenny, Larry and his mom/my cousin Sara.) Neither of us had been there before, but I made sure to comfort him during the rainstorms lol. Jake blew me away when he ordered a giant salmon dinner and then ate every last bite. He then kept going with a Chocolate Volcano for dessert. That kid can eat. I wish he lived closer. We had a great time with him at dinner.

The 3 of Us at Disneyland

We decided to get our mom a silhouette portrait of the three of us from Disneyland for her birthday. Larry and I have passes and Jenny was able to get signed in with her/our friend Darren. Darren also has a front of the line pass. We were able to get on Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Peter Pan's Flight, Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones all in a few hours. I feel bad for all the tourists, but being a local we know all the secrets.

Here we are in front of the Matterhorn...
Jenny and Larry never want to take a serious photo...

Here's our new silhouette...
This is the entire collection with Larry giving it a thumbs up...

Pet Products By Nature

I found this great website called Pet Products By Nature. It's a couple based in Arizona that make Chinchilla treats, chews and other fun things. They have awesome prices compared to any local pet stores. Here's a photo of Bonnie checking out their new hide away, which is a PVC pipe covered in leopard print fleece to prevent chewing.

Fedor Birthday Party

Lauren gave me a choice for my birthday party theme... pirates or Fedor. I chose Fedor and this is what Lauren came up with...

Fedor cupcakes complete with Russian flags.

Junior Mints and Peanut M&Ms

Freakin Amazing! She's such a great little party planner.

Thanks for the awesome party Lauren! (Too bad Fedor lost. lol)

I Went Full Twitard

Christy had an extra ticket to the Nordstrom's advanced screening of Eclipse, so I took her up on her offer and went full twitard...

We got to see the movie at 9:30 pm the day before it came out, while everyone else has to wait until midnight. There were lines wrapped around the Spectrum in all directions. It was pretty crazy.

More Bradley & Sammy

Bradley & Sammy

Bradley was looking for a new best friend...
This is Sammy... my parents' new dog.
(Ok they got him in January. I just haven't blogged about him yet.)

They love each other so much!

Sammy is a face biter.

Bradley is so happy that Sammy is a part of the family now!

Vegas for Work

We went to Vegas for 5 days for the Surfaces Trade Show to show off our sweet tile. Driving to Vegas is always fun, driving to Vegas with my boss and 3 associates from China is even better!

We stopped in Barstow for Starbucks and found this nice hill...

The world's largest thermometer is a must see!

The goal of any work trip to catch someone sleeping. This is Calvin...
I got Matthew to buy us all ice cream
Matthew is actually sleeping in this photo. He can sleep anywhere. And yes, he just happens to be smiling in his sleep!
