Milo & Bradley Pitbull Party

On Saturday, I took Bradley to play with Milo. Thanks to facebook, I saw that Milo's mom, Debbie, was off work and immediately set up a play date. I've been wanting to meet her dogs, Milo and Chloe, for awhile now. Debbie is a photographer and works a lot of the same shows as my mom. Check out her website. She has rescued quite a few pitbulls and is my go to when I have questions about Bradley. We went to Debbie's house and played in Milo's backyard. Bradley got to meet Chloe for a few minutes but she was being a little bitchy and had to go back in the house. The boys had a lot of fun. After 2 1/2 hours of wrestling, we had to tell them they were done! They could have gone all night. I'm so happy Bradley has a new friend and it's one that plays just as hard as he does.

I started fixing up the backyard for Bradley. I planted some garden mums and some daisy seeds that I got from my cousin Christina's wedding. I also finally planted one of the plants I bought for Bradley about a year ago. And I, of course, threw down some red wood chips for him. Here are a few photos...

Bradley already buried a bone in my flowers. He jumped in the photo when I got too close to his buried treasure. lolBradley and his plant I can't remember the name of. He always looks like a sad neglected dog when I try to take pictures of him. Maybe he's mad at me because I had to put his monthly flea medicine on him today.

Yes, I'm blogging about my doormat

This post is especially for Lauren...

We're both really excited about Halloween and all of the awesome decorations in stores right now. I went to Target yesterday and was sooo tempted to spend next month's rent on all the cute decorations. But luckily I stopped my self. I won't have a place to decorate if I don't pay rent on time. lol So I only bought one thing...

...a new doormat! I'm going to use it year round so it's not a waste of money. I moved my "Leave" doormat to the backyard. That one is getting old anyways. I can't wait to go back and get a few more things. I love Halloween! :)

Etsy Shopping

I love shopping on etsy. It's a marketplace kind of like ebay or craigslist but it's for handmade items. There are some really awesome things on there. So the other day I FINALLY bought the apron I've been looking at for quite some time. It's so cute. I love it!

It's made by Boojiboo and called the Bella. You can see the rest of their store here. Luckily they're in La Mirada so it only took one day for shipping. :)

New Studio

Last week, I moved into my new studio apartment. I can't stop thinking about all the things I want to do to make it more my own. I have a lot of work to do in the backyard to make it better for Bradley, like laying down some wood chips and planting some plants and flowers. I'd like to buy some new frames to hang pictures on the wall. I'd like to buy an area rug. And I still want that Ibestad bed frame from IKEA even though I don't think it's going to fit. I also have a few things I'm still trying to get rid of on craigslist to make a little more room.

Bradley is slowly adjusting to the new place. He's starting to eat regularly again after I had to entice him with some wet food. I know he misses his spot at the top of the stairs. Now he just sleeps on my bed all day.

And now for the best part of my studio....

I Won Ducks Tickets! (Part 2)

Last Thursday was the Ducks vs Canucks game. The Ducks lost 3-0 and I didn't win the season tickets, but I had a great time. There were at least 5 fights. It definitely made up for the UFC Fight Night I missed the night before. lol
